"I am so thankful for the opportunity to have worked with you Monique. Yoga combined with this incredibly helpful knowledge and understanding of the pelvic floor is the special offering you are bringing to this space. It's what makes these session unique. I was so mentally blown away by the information and understanding my body. Honestly, you shared with me knowledge about my own body that has changed the way I move and think about my body each and every day. I now understand my body better, it's truly incredible.
Thank you."

What is the Hypopressive technique?

The Hypopressive technique is a postural and breathing practice originally designed to help post-natal women prevent and/or recover from pelvic floor dysfunction, incontinence and prolapse. It has now evolved into a fitness program used by men and women of all ages, not only to restore their pelvic health but to strengthen and tone their deep core musles.

Hypopressives are easy to learn, but they are also easy to get wrong. It is important that you seek a qualified instructor to teach you the technique, making sure that you do the movements safely and correctly.

Benefits of the Hypopressive practice:

1. Reduce back pain: by improving posture and strengthening the core.
2. Reduce waistline: by defining and toning the abdomen.
3. Boost metabolism and burn calories: with breath work and movement.
4. Improve sexual function (performance, sensitivity and pleasure).
5. Gain muscle tone and awareness of the pelvic floor
6. Urinary incontinence: Hypopressives strengthens the pelvic floor.
7. Pelvic Organ Prolapse: Healthy abdominals support pelvic organs.
8. Postnatal: An excellent option for mums looking for a safe return to exercise.
